⚠️ Warning: This model exists in two frequencies (433 and 868 MHz), and remotes with different frequencies are not compatible. Though visually identical, check the FAAC logo color to differentiate:

• Gray logo = 433 MHz (this model)

• White logo = 868 MHz

Always verify the frequency (marked on the back) before purchasing.

Programming Methods:
This original remote can be programmed by self-learning or via the receiver.

NOTE: 

In apartment complexes, programming may be restricted. Check with your building manager to know if your receiver is locked by the installer.

To program a new FAAC remote, you must have an unlocked master remote. To verify this:

• Hold down a button

  • If the LED blinks once and then stays lit → Unlocked (master remote)

  • If the LED lights up without blinking → Locked (slave remote, LOCK function enabled)

Be careful : If the LED turns green, this is an SL model. SLH and SL communication protocols are not compatible.

How to Program the FAAC XTO2 SLH SL DS RC 433MHZ Remote

Important: For safety, program the remote from inside your garage to prevent accidental activation.

Method 1 – Using an Original Remote

⚠️ Do not press the buttons on the new remote before the original, or you may erase its settings.

1. Hold the original and new remotes head-to-head

2. Press and hold buttons P1 and P2 on the original

3. Wait for the LED to blink → then release

4. While the LED is blinking, press and hold the button on the original

5. While holding that, press and hold the same button on the new remote

6. The new remote’s LED blinks twice → release both buttons

7. Press the programmed button on the new remote twice
   ✅ Your remote is now programmed.

Method 2 – Using the Receiver (No Original Remote)

1. Open the receiver’s control box (near the motor)

2. On the new remote, press and hold P1 and P2 until the LED blinks

3. Release the buttons

4. On the receiver board, press the SW1 programming button → LED blinks

5. While the new remote’s LED is blinking, press and hold the desired button

6. The receiver LED will light up and turn off

7. Press the same button twice
   ✅ Your remote is now programmed.
