Remote CAME TOP44RBN

The CAME TOP44RBN, part number 806TS-0270, is a 4-channel radio remote control built around rolling code technology, designed to operate gate motors, sliding gates, swing gates and sectional garage doors fitted with a compatible CAME receiver.

The Rolling code system

This CAME remote transmits on the 433.92 MHz frequency and generates a brand-new code with every button press, drawn from more than 4.29 billion possible combinations. In practical terms, this means a signal intercepted near your driveway can never be replayed to open your gate, a real security upgrade compared to older fixed-code remotes.
Thanks to its four channels, the TOP44RBN remote lets you control up to four separate functions from a single handset — for instance your main gate, a pedestrian side door, the garage and outdoor lighting — instead of carrying several separate transmitters. This makes it a genuinely convenient option for properties with more than one motorised access point.

How it works

CAME rates the range of the TOP44RBN at up to 150 metres in open field conditions, which is more than enough to trigger the gate from inside your car well before you reach the entrance. Because it operates on the standard 433.92 MHz frequency used across the CAME automation range, this remote control is compatible with the vast majority of CAME gate and garage door motors, provided the control panel or receiver is fitted with a suitable radio-frequency card (such as the plug-in 1001AF43S) or the rolling-code self-learning function (parameter U8).
Power comes from a single CR2032 3V lithium coin battery, easy to access and replace by removing the upper shell with a screwdriver. Battery life will vary depending on storage time and frequency of use.

Configuration

Adding a new TOP44RBN to an existing installation is straightforward thanks to the self-learning rolling procedure: stand within 5 metres of the gate, press and hold the relevant button on an already-programmed CAME transmitter for 15 seconds until the LED stays permanently lit, then press the corresponding button on the new remote for around 3 seconds. No access to the control panel is required to duplicate a remote this way.
